Hotchili-mike's Habanero Hot Black Currant Wings

  • 1 kg Chicken wings
    Marinade:
  • 3 dl Back currant syrup
  • 1 ,5 dl Cider vinegar
  • 1 dl Oil
  • 3/4 dl Soy sauce (Kikkoman or other Japanese)
  • 3 Tbsp Thyme, fresh (or substitute with 1 1/2 Tbsp dry thyme)
  • 1 tsp Habanero - fresh, pureed
  • Mix the marinade and cover the wings with marinade. Marinate the wings for 6 - 12 hours. Grill the wings until the skin gets crispy but not burnt. Enjoy with or without your favorite dip.

Freeze leftover marinade an use later for another batch of wings.
