    Roasted Red Pepper Spread #2

  • 1 small clove garlic, peeled
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12-ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 Pinch cayenne pepper
  • To prepare cut the garlic clove in half; if there is a green sprout in the center, remove it. Mash the garlic with the salt. (This tempers the raw garlic taste.)

    Place the roasted peppers in a food processor or blender. Add the garlic, walnuts, and cayenne pepper, and process until creamy.
