    Eastern N.C. BBQ Sauce - Smoke And Spice

  • 2 cups cider or white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne or red pepper flakes
  • Preparation: Combine in a bowl and stir to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
