| James Beal's Bbq Sauce | ||

Mix and simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours. Stir often. Serve over BBQ'ed beef, chicken or ribs. BBQ sauces come in several varieties, tomato-hickory-sweet, cayenne and vinegar, mustard, etc. I first saw this BBQ sauce - the tomato-hickory-sweet variety - on Jeff Smith's TV show (The Frugal Gourmet). I tried it and found it outstanding. Jeff got it from James Beal originally from Dallas Texas now resident and BBQ cafe owner of Seattle. Use it on smoked ribs, brisket, chicken or road kill. Try it, you will like it. (It is best to keep a window open while this is cooking otherwise the aroma is liable to make you wanna gnaw off the leg of the kitchen table!)
