Ginger Dipping Sauce

    Ginger Dipping Sauce

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Hot pepper sauce to taste*
  • 1 tablespoon freshly minced gingerroot
  • 2 teaspoons thinly sliced scallion
  • Combine soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and hot sauce in small bowl; stir until sugar dissolves. Stir in gingerroot and scallion. Set aside to allow flavors to develop.

    Yield 3/4 cup

    Changes by PepperFool:
    Use chile paste or siricha hot sauce and add 1 clove minced garlic.
