Whirl cranberries in a food processor until finely chopped, or grind through a food chopper with a fine blade. In a bowl, combine cranberries, apple, sugar, cilantro, lime juice, chili, and salt to taste. Serve, or cover and chill up to 3 days. Makes 2 cups.
