    A bit about Doug Irvine:
    "I am an old codger who will be 73 on Jan 4th and my wife of almost 50 years is 4 yrs younger on Jan 6th. She does the baking and I do the cooking, and we have been doing that for years. I consider myself a good cook, striving to be a GREAT cook! Anyway, as you may have noticed, I am very innovative, I can take a recipe, or an idea and modify it to our tastes, which are a little on the hot side...little? So, I manage to come up with something different for just about every meal.
    Tonight, I took a roast of pork, a loin, and cut it up, threw in a can of green salsa, can of green chiles, green jalapeno, one orange hab, should have been at least two, had to add Jim C's ground smoked hab powder, can of tomatillas, one onion chopped, 6 garlic cloves, chopped, and let it go for a couple of hours...twasnt bad at all, sorta a green chile stew. This is usually the way I cook, and if the result is exceptional, the list gets the recipe."
