Wasabi Salad

    Wasabi Salad

  • 2 barely boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, finely cut
  • 5 tiny shallots or 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 package Natto (fermented Soybeans), defrosted
  • 1 long red Thai Dragon Pepper, finely chopped
    for the sauce:
  • 1 tb peanut oil (or other oil)
  • 1 tb rice vinegar (or other vinegar)
  • 1 tb soysauce
  • 1 tsp wasabi powder

    • *(if you cannot imagine eating Natto, or can't find it locally, replace with mushrooms)

    The most important task is to really disolve the wasabi powder in the liquid. Somehow, the combination of the Wasabi and the Thai Dragon in this exotic salad is just perfect. Anyway, that's how it felt to me at 2 pm this afternoon. Anyone as crazy as I out there, let me know ....

    By the way, enjoy with a cup of green tea, quick lunch (or snack) for 1 person:
