Jicama Salsa

    Jicama Salsa

  • 1 small jicama -- peeled & diced (about 1 cup)
  • 8 radishes -- diced
  • 3/4 cup cucumber -- peeled & diced
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons sweet red onion -- diced
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground arbol chile
  • 2 teaspoons fresh basil -- minced
  • 2/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon sugar
  • Thoroughly combine all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
    Yield: About 2 cups
    Serving Ideas : With steak, or as a soup garnish
