Dice the tomatillos and the tomato into about 1/4 inch cubes and place in bowl together. Chop up the cilantro and the jalapenos coarsely, then put in food processor and process until fairly small. Throw in the onion (chopped coarsely) and pulse process quickly until the onion is diced rather small, but not pureed. Onion size between 1/8" and 1/4" works well. Add to the bowl with the tomatillo mixture. Add in the lime juice and the salt (optional) and stir. Set aside in a covered container in the refrigerator for a while so that the flavors will blend.
