    Made at home Salsa

  • 1 can whole tomatoes (16 oz or so)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons ground chile tepins (gives a nice buzz, adjust as you see fit)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano (mexican is better if you can get it)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried cilantro
  • 1/2 large onion chopped.

    • Dump into a blender and give it a whirl. Might reserve a small bit of onion and add after blending.

    Has a very good tepin flavor. El Grande sure had it going good when he made those little devils.
