Gingered Mango Salsa

    Gingered Mango Salsa

  • 1/4 fresh habanero chile or 1 whole jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup peeled and diced mango
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger
  • pinch salt
  • Combine and mix prepared ingredients in a small bowl; salsa texture should be coarse.

    Makes 1 cup.
