Cook sausage and beef together in a skillet until browned; stirring to crumble. Drain well. Stir in celery, onion, and garlic. Cook until tender and barely brown. Stir in corn, tomatoes, chile powder and salt. Simmer 15 minutes.
Slowly stir in cornmeal, cooking until thick. Remove from heat; stir in olives. Pour into a greased 2 qt casserole. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Bake, uncovered, for 350°F for 35 minutes or until set.
Serves 6-8 people.
I omitted the corn because it is too high in carbs. I
deleted half the celery and used ground turkey instead
of the beef. It was really good.
