    Grilled Tex-mex Turkey Burgers

  • 1 lb ground turkey -- leanest possible
  • 1/2 4.5 oz can chopped green chiles
  • 1 tbsp salsa
  • burger buns
  • 4 Monterey jack cheese slices
  • 4 tbsp sour cream, light
  • 4 tbsp salsa
  • In a large bowl, combine turkey, salsa and green chiles. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and then form into 4 patties.

    Preheat George Foreman Grill. When hot, spray with some cooking spray. Cook on grill until medium rare.

    To serve: Place one slice of cheese on top of bun. Place burger on the bottom bun. Top with 1 tbsp sour cream and 1 tbsp salsa. Place burger tops in toaster over or in oven on low temperature. Melt cheese. Place top bun on burger.

    Serve with baked fries.
